Stephen Ministry
The United Methodist Church offers its members an opportunity to be trained in Christian one-to-one care. This program is called "Stephen Ministry".
The Stephen Ministry at Mount Pisgah equips lay persons to provide Christian care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances. Our trained team of Stephen Ministers are committed Christians who express God's care to others by listening, exploring feelings, praying, and sharing Christ's love.
Stephen Ministers offer help and support for people facing many kinds of issues, including hospitalization or terminal illness, death or loss, job crisis, separation or divorce, and many other types of personal crisis.
