Baptism
Baptism is one of two sacraments (sacred events which Christ commanded us to do) that we celebrate in our church. Baptism is when Christ brings us close to Him and takes away the original sins of our Biblical ancestors. It is something that we cannot earn, so we baptize people of all ages (and we only do it once because it is God acting upon us and what God does, He does perfectly the first time).
For more information on baptism at Mount Pisgah, contact the Church Office at (336) 288-3321.
Weddings
A wedding is a sacred act in which a man and woman accept the love of God and express it through marriage. We believe that God intended for us to hold marriage and family as the basic building block for the world (however, we also believe that He didn’t intend for everyone to marry).
At Mount Pisgah, we marry both members and non-members. Please review our Wedding Policy for details. For additional information, please call the Church Office at (336) 288-3321.
Funerals
While death is certainly a sad occasion, it is also a step in our lives where we move on to a greater and glorious existence. The funeral is a celebration of life both here and in heaven. We believe that funerals should be held in the sanctuary, as they are actually worship services.
If you experience a death in your family, please contact the Church Office (or a pastor) immediately at (336) 288-3321, so that we can help.
